Many times we hear these statements concerning one that has died; “(S)He is better off now!” Or “(S)he is at peace now, never to suffer anymore.” But is that statement really true? Are they really better or worse off?

These are true statements:

1-The soul of one that dies in Christ immediately goes to Heaven or Paradise.

“And it came to pass, that the begger died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom:”

Luke 16:22 a

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord!” II Corin. 5:8

2-The soul of one that dies without Christ goes immediately to Hell.

“The rich man also died, and was buried: and in Hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments”

Luke 16:22b-23a

3- You are not promised another day on earth.

Behold now is the accepted time: behold now is the day of salvation. II Corin. 6:2

4- While you have a chance, accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior!

“But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John 1:12

5- The choice is yours.

“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

Mark 16:16
